Kandivli street dweller run over

MUMBAI: A street dweller was killed in a hit-and-run mishap at Kandivli (W) on Wednesdaymorning. Charkop police are looking out for the culprit, who is unidentified as yet.
The accident took place near the State Bank of India branch on M G Road. The deceased, Bavane Singh (50), was asleep on a road divider at 6.15 am when a motorist hurtled towards him in immense speed.He ran over him, crushing his jaw and head. The motorist rammed into an electric pole. Without rushing Singh to a hospital, he fled.
